What this course is about
This is where most students begin. Using the Noorani Qaida, the well-known primer for Quranic reading, your teacher introduces each Arabic letter: its shape, its sound, and how it changes at the start, middle and end of a word.
Once the letters feel familiar, lessons move on to joining them, reading short and long vowels, and then whole words and verses. Because every class is live, pronunciation is corrected as you read, so good habits form from the first week.
By the end of the course students read from the Mushaf with confidence, know when to pause and stop, and are ready to take up a full Tajweed course.
