What this course is about
Tajweed is the set of rules that governs how each letter and word of the Quran is pronounced. Applying them protects the meaning of the words and brings out the beauty of the recitation.
In this course a teacher works with you, or your child, one rule at a time: first explaining it, then listening while you practise it in real verses. You do not need any background in Arabic. Lessons are paced to the student, whether a complete beginner or someone polishing an already fluent recitation.
Your teacher tracks how you are doing, gives feedback after each session, and keeps you motivated. By the end you will recite with correct articulation, including the Harakat, Qalqalah and the other rules covered below.
